The Dandy Warhols Live at the famous X-Ray Cafe, 7/8/1994. Recording by Dean Fletcher. This was right towards the end of the run for the X-Ray. Tres, who did the regular bookings, got tired of it and gave me a couple of dates to book. First call was to the Dandys. The Dandys played some of their very first shows at the X-Ray and this seemed a perfect way to go out. Sugarboom and Swoon23 were the bands that the Dandys wanted to play with so that was the lineup. A great evening.
Wow this is really interesting... what happened to that tres guy, is he still around portland?

I have a ton more from the Live at the X-Ray days. Just keep up the kind words and tell your friends about this. It's interest from folks like yourself that will make more of this happen.

Oh my god! This is awesome, a live version of Nothin' To Do, my favourite Dandy Warhols song! Do you have more live recordings of Portland bands like Hazel, Heatmiser, Pond, Skiploader or Dimbulb? I didn't got the chance to live in Portland during the 90s and I'd love to pretend I was at the X-Ray listening to that beautiful music!

@ombelicodivenere I have Hazel, Pond, and I think Skiploader and Dimbulb. All the original tapes are in storage and I'm just now getting into the project of making these recordings available. Unfortunately/fortunately it's a very large project and will take time. Just wanted to give folks a sampling. Many more to come. Feel free to subscribe to my video page. One of the best motivators is knowing that people really want to hear this.
