No. This system is a brand new system from Haldex. Saab are the first company to use it.

Funny how this saab still makes the same bonging noise as my dads 2000 95 aero. It makes the same noise when I handbrake turn it lol. Come on Saab, get back to rally. Only ford and citroen to challenge you, and there cars are boring clones of each other (c4 and focus). konigsegg will back you up and sweden is probably the rally capital of the world. Do it saab, make us proud and take the kids hot hatch market by storm.

@cityflyguy there slowly shifting in AWD saab has always been FWD there is a reason for this change wait for the company to tinker around a little more and these 9-3's will be the new Wrx's.

I have driven Quattros for the last 20 years. But Audi have lost the plot,they only make cars for footballers wives now. And their prices would make a stone bleed.  I am ordering a new 9-3 xwd this week, cant wait.

im so excited for saab right now. Theyve got more freedom from the dull GM bosses, theyve got a top of the range 4wd system, a great looking new 95, a hatchback for the younger market in the works and probably more besides. I also think saab should re enter WRC, they could really get that younger market and regain the glory days. ust look at all the cars that made it big because of rally, audi quattro, Cozza, 205 gti, lancer evo, Subaru impreza, Focus RS, xsara, Fabia VRS & of course Saab 900.
