  • ... that they need to listen. They need to hear what these passionate people are trying to say by doing this. Then, and only then, will we ever be able to have peace in this world. If we look at these cultures & religions through our "Western glasses" with RESPECT & UNDERSTANDING. If the other half of this lecture is available I would love to see it. I think you make some very good points.

  • ... because we do not live in a "western world" or a "western society". We live in a global society. One with views and perspectives different than our own. We live in a world where people are so passionate about their way of life, their religion, and their culture that they are willing to die for it. I don't believe that killing yourself and others is the right thing to do, but those who do it are trying to say something very powerful. And perhaps we should be teaching our children that

  • You are an incredible speaker, and the words you speak are so very powerful and true. I am a senior in college and will be graduating with degrees in International Studies & Political Science, with minors in Biology and French. The America we have grown up with teaches us that democracy is always the right way to go about Politics. In the West we have such a narrow-minded view of things. It is time for us to start teaching our children about International Relations & Politics in schools

  • Dont be a muslim, be Mohammed-like / don't be Christian, be Jesus-like, etc. .. Jesus never said himself, yes please make a religion and defend it in God's name. He's real intention was much deeper than that, unconditional love and forgiveness. It is something that our Ego, who thinks we are seperate from everything else, blocks us from thinking. Change your thoughts with abundance, change your life. Don't associate with social HUMAN groups for your own spirituality.
