Singapore Airlines B777-300ER Takeoff At Hong Kong Airport

I had always wanted to fly on the B777-300ER so I decided to fly on this flight, SQ1. However, I would have preferred to fly on SQ863 (also on the B777-300ER), as it departs later in the afternoon (rather than on SQ1 which departs quite early in the morning), but it was already fully booked so I had no choice but to choose to sacrifice some sleep to fulfil my wish.

I've got 9V-SWB. Runway used was 07R. The takeoff was rather powerful and there was heavy condensation over the wing as we climbed. I even caught a bird's-eye view of Tsuen Wan, Tsing Yi and Kwai Chung districts shortly after takeoff as there were literally no clouds over that area! (Watch 5:00 - 5:25)

Nice filming! I'm flying SQ11 LAX-NRT-SIN which is operated on the B777-300ER now and SQ12 SIN-NRT-LAX which is also on the 777-300ER this summer!! definitely can't wait for a nice powerful takeoff as well as SQs new economy!! I fly this route very often but it has been the B747-400 until recently..it was supposed to be the a380 but after the earthquake in Japan travel load on the flight got way less so they downgraded to 77W... Can't wait!! :)

Thanks for the upload! I also flew Singapore Airlines, on a 777-300ER. It was SFO-ICN, flight SQ15. I found the service and food to be quite good!
