D was one of the only Christian Rappers I could stand. He really transcended all the tripe junk that tends to bog people in the medium. Most rap is as entrenched in 'genre baggage' as Country music. lol. Guys going 'HUHH' in the background for no particular reason etc. Just sounds dumb...like using an auto-tune on songs where there's no reason for you to sound like a robot. lol.

Man, I'm getting chills listening to this. I'm thirty years old and remember listening to this when I was a kid. Whether it was mainstream or Christian rap, D-Boy was one of the top lyricists during his time. The fact that he had such a good message really helped me through some hard times. I was sitting here praying about an hour ago trying to get through some rough spot and his name came to mind. This is just what I needed to hear. RIP D-Boy.
