  • Thet thing with the cauldron is the raise dead ability TNO gets. I'd have to disagree about this being the best ending, though - to me, the 'best' ending is the one where you raise your entire party, convince TTO to merge with you, then voluntarily go on to your fate.

  • For me, the coolest ending is where the Nameless One absorbs his immortality (in a duel of wills, you need 23 to wisdom, or something) and becomes all the incarnations that he ever was, then ressurects his entire party before he goes off to atone for his crimes in the Blood War.

  • The best ending is...

It started with Morte & TNO, it ends with Morte &TNO.

Before going into the portal into the last plane, leave behind everyone but Morte! LimLim, Ana, Dakkon, Nordem, Grace, Ignus (if not dead), MercyKiller. Meet up with Mortality, Then you'll notice Mort's not lying there. Instead... the game goes into this corner and stays that way. Why Morte is hiding. Probably ready to pick up TNO's corpse, even though this is TNO's last chance. His body is gray and rotten now.

  • @nanuaraq0409 in my opinion the best is when you merge and fight in the blood war but this ending is epic in its own right.

  • @Nallkun In your opinion, what is the best ending, then?

  • @nanuaraq0409 The impression I got from that ending more indicated that TNO had accepted his fate, because immortality was a far more terrible punishment (on him AND everyone else) than being condemned to the Blood War.

  • @Palantarian I am with you a long way there, only in my perception of the nameless one, he gains his power through a deep recognition of himself. At the end, he is at the pinnacle of his power and of his knowledge of himself, thus allowing him to come to terms with his many crimes, and that is what gives him the possibility of merging with his mortality. At peace with him self at last, he is finally healed of his regret and is ready to atone for his crimes.

  • @Palantarian I will upload all possible ending dialogues ( before TNO absorb TTO ) - see my channel already uploaded over 65 hours of my excelent gameplay of English version.

  • @nanuaraq0409 I guess that depends on what kind of character you play. Personally, I like the development where the Nameless One starts off clueless and powerless on a slab in the mortuary, only to become this almost god-like being, as he gradually solves the mystery of himself. Forcing the Trancendent One to merge with him (i.e. bending the fabric of existance, the laws of life and death, by force of will alone...!), is more "in character" with my idea of what the Nameless One is like.

  • @nanuaraq0409 I mean he is no longer stripped of his mortality, and no longer immortal, of course...

  • @Taliesyn42 Not sure it's voluntary. I think this part of the story is the time when he can no longer keep the inevitable at bay, since he is no longer stripped of his immortality.

  • @Palantarian I think its a mite bit cooler where he actually convinces the transcendent immortality to merge by reasoning with him.
