agreed..I really don't like clinics at all..I'd much rather watch them in band situation..imagine playing in a room full of drummers critiquing your every move..doesn't not sound like fun at all..

That's why Vinnie doesn't do clinics anymore. In an interview he said that drummers JUST want a dog and pony show and watch him show off his chops. He then said that he JUST wants to play the MUSIC and if the music requires him to have a chopsfest, fine...but if it's just about playing a simple groove, then THAT'S what it's about. Vinnie wants to be known as a great musician OVER AND ABOVE being a great drummer. As for me, I think Vinnie teaches us drummers a great lesson with those statements.
