This show was a Boston TV cult favorite on a channel that had both the Boston Bruins and the Boston Red Sox for years before a cable only sports channel stole them. Hogan's Heroes and the Three Stooges never went off the air thanks to this station. And there were the Sherlock Holmes and Charlie Chan movies shown every Saturday morning over and over for what seemed to be a decade at least.
It was the greatest UHF channel Boston ever had..

Best local TV show ever!

@dmnewton First manager was Bill Flynn, who was the best of all of them. They had some guy later on, I think his name was Stu. A friend of mine lives near Dana in Ipswich.

I wrote them a letter once and they read it on the air. I wish I still had the tape.

This was my favorite show on Sunday nights. Sometimes it was on, sometimes it wasn't. I forget the name of the first station manager I saw on there, this is Dan Berkely, then later it was Meg Lavigne. But the real star, as you can see here, was Dana Hersey, a very funny and talented man.

Have you seen the Ask the Manager fan page?

Such a great show - anyone know what that theme song is? It rules.

Seeing Dana in a suit and not a sweater is kinda odd!!!
