THE BEN MUSEUM: Early Wild Chicago: What to Wear (Designer Mart, circa 1989)

Let's celebrate the birth of one of the most influential shows in Chicago television history -- WILD CHICAGO. We premiered Friday night at 10:30, January 6, 1989. A crowd gathered at the Northside tavern, then located on Webster near Sheffield under the El. The rumble you heard was the seismic shifting of Chicago television changing forever. Here's a taste of an early episode. The show was created by myself and John Davies. Shooting and editing was handled by a very talented cadre of professionals including Harvey Moshman, Tom Siegel, Michael Davis, Emmett Wilson, Bob Dove, Roy Alan, Al Williams and many more to whom I am grateful.
