@SuperMangn Can you point me to that test? I searched the net, but couldn't find anything. I've always liked Snap-On tools, but thought they were way overpriced. I stripped out two 1/2" Snap-On ratchets before switching to a couple of Proto ratchets that break loose any fastener I've come across.

@MrChevyK1500 In a failure point test done by a machine in nm readings a Snap-on flank drive wrench was tested against about 20 other brands of wrenches. The Snap-on was showed up for what it is. Many companies from all over the world beat it, even a $1 Indian wrench beat a $33 Snap-on wrench. The two strongest in the test were both German brands.

I heard, is it true that if a regular JOE blow goes up to a snap on truck with his broken socket wrench, the snap on rep won't even look your way?

If you live in Europe then get the best German tools. I have an inhex socket set from Snap-on and the German brand Stahlwille and they are equal strength and quality in my experiance. The Snap-on cost four times more. Dont underestimate the best German tools, they forge steel that is close to or as strong as Snap-on.

@SuperMangn I'm sure German make great tools. I live on the west coast and all we have is matco, snap on,MAC tools and craftsmen tools. It would be nice to have other bands because snap on tools are very expensive and worth it.
