Mapondo Community School Intro.m4v

PEPAIDS is a UK based NGO focussing on alleviating poverty and HIV/AIDS in Zambia. This video is about our Schools of Good Hope programme which aims to provide a good standard of education for the most vulnerable children in Zambia. Through this project we provide basic teacher training to volunteer community school teachers and we also link community schools in Zambia with UK schools. The UK schools help to fundraise for their partner Zambian school so that we can buy all the resources that they need to provide a better quality of education to their pupils. 

Mapondo Community School in Hanjalika zone in Mazabuka, in the Southern Province of Zambia, has been linked with St Philip Howard Catholic Sports College in the UK. Through the project we hope to build a really strong relationship between the pupils at both schools and we aim to make donating to charity much more tangible for the pupils at St Philip Howard. Through videos, newsletters, email updates and photographs, St Philip Howard school pupils will be able to see the impact that their fundraising efforts are having on the school.
