I know I'm not exactly a nihilist, I use the term for convenience, because I share many things with uit including the major one: a disbelief in objective meaning.
All I say in this video is: values happen, conviction is subjective, and external appeal is unecessary for values. I don't see what connexion you see with idealism (particularily in a video that is NOT about metaphysics, but about values): I do not think the world is personal, I believe the reaction to the world is personal.

I am a nihilist given that I deny objective morality, higher goal in existence, hierarchy of qualities, rights, definitions, knowledge, truth, and almost everything. My only digression from pure nihilism concerns meaning: I do think that people can find personal meaning in life.
Your French is really good. :-)

The circular meaning there is sort of broken if we use "to do coke" rather than "to make coke".
J'etait vraiment interessé avec ta dissertation par exemple. Bon travail :)

Well, thanks for the help but I have three reasons to justify my translation.
1. It is a very common anglicism in Quebec French to refer to drug intake with "faire" rather than "prendre" w.r.t. cocaine, methampetamines and other "hard" drugs.
2. If you were right, how could he _make_ drug in order to work more? and how having more money could help him make more coke?

3. Quite no one makes coke in North America, it comes all powdered and ready to sell, having their character making coke would make little sense, unless he is Colombian.

I find no meaning in your statements. But that is my fault, not yours :D

I'd say this meaninglessness is inherent, it's neither your nor my fault. :-)
