Though we may have the best health care system in the world, and we do, it only applies to a minority of us. Those with HMOs, Kaiser, get substandard care, deplorable. The practicing provider with poor skills gets paid the same as the most elegant clinician. Is it rational? Heart Bypass surgery is of marginal benefit but costly.
