Where are these respectable women for which you speak? Women are less rational than men. Sure, most people (men AND women) are irrational, but women much more so.

I can respect women for other qualities, but without the ability and the application of reason, I can not consider any of them equals.

Really insightful. Personally I do have high standards, and I try to live my values. I see others around me who profess the same values but their choices in life seem not to reflect these. I always thought it was some sort of psychological dysfunction which prevents the alignment of concept and action -- like in their minds there is a divide between what is and what *is*.

I keep the same intellectual standard for women so we could chill if we lived near each other. I think men are as stupid as the women though. At least here in America. There are too many idiots here. aaron, you talk a bit as if women should be respected just for being women. i get that idea from watching your video anyway. thats one of the bullshit double standards in our society, and because we're indoctrinated into this kind of idea, most women dont have to do anything to get respect, and thus they become assholes, undeserving of respect.

the problem is there is this lingering consciousness about women being inferior in some way even among women. in fairness, though, there's got to be some pressure felt on the part of women even if they attempt transcend this consciousness as to how to embrace themselves as women because they're constantly under a microscope.

the key is to not see oneself as a woman or a man or a jew or an african-american and simply see onself as an individual.
