I have two Peskies and am facing the fourth, Nor-easter in the Philly area today! Mine are miniature Eskies, which appears to be the case with yours. Do you think that just two mini-Eskies could handle the load? Where do you get equipment? Thanks for sharing - so adorable! -Nadine

I prefer to use backcountry skis with heavy xcountry boots and bindings. That way I can snowplow to brake and help the dogs when we get moving. I now use a new Alpine Outfitters "Elements" harness, but the main thing is to use a pulling harness.
These are older, mellow, Samoyeds, they weigh around 43 to 49 lb each. So that is about right for pulling me at 170 lb. Three young Sammies would be scary. Smaller dogs would need more help, but with xcountry equipment, that would be doable.
