Tobotronc Alpine Coaster at Naturlandia in Andorra

This is an on-ride video of Tobotronc. It is a Wiegand Alpine Coaster located at Naturlandia in Sant Julia de Loria, Andorra. The video is only of the downhill portion. The lift is approximatly 13 minutes. The downhill portion of the ride is 3,550 meters. The decent with no brakes was about 5 minutes and 10 seconds. 3,550 meters in 5:10 is an average speed of 41.2 km/h. So it wouldnt surprise me if we hit 45 or 50 km/h in some spots. The video was taken at 6:30pm on Wednesday July 29th, 2009.

No, I just held it with both hands. Though I do have a hand strap in case I accidentally drop it. It's an awesome ride. I defiantly want to get back there some day.

The longest alpine slides I have been on is the one at Winter Park,Colorado and Attitash in New Hampshire.Both rides were about 3,000 feet.The ride I think was just under 3 mins.
