Reality TV celebrity Lindsey Knickerbocker receives an Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatment (also known as a photofacial) from Beth Haney of Luxe Med Spa. Tammy Knickerbocker also discusses her concerns about sun damage to her daughter's skin with Beth from over-tanning.
IPL Rejuvenation Treatment, is a non-laser medical device that delivers a series of gentle pulses of light to the skin. This innovative technique target and eliminates damaged areas and effectively correct both:
• Reds: rosacea, broken capillaries, and redness to the neck and chest;
• Browns: age spots, freckles and uneven pigmentation.
The procedure will also reduce wrinkling and large pores.

@lol365 That is absolutely true. UVA and UVB must be filtered from the skin. Especially if you have red skin naturally.

Sunscreen does not cause skin cancer. Rather, it is poorly formulated sunscreens that don't block out UVA radiation (the ray that doesn't burn you but wrinkles you) that are the culprit. Broad spectrum sunscreens which block both UVA and UVB have yet to be proven anything but safe.

a far better way to deal with uv rays is to take niacin a half hour before sun exposure.
