At today's Sacramento County Board of Supervisor's meeting, representatives from the ACLU spoke against re-opening the Roger Bauman Facility, a jail that's part of the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center. Speakers were Debra Reiger, Chair of the Sacramento County Chapter of the ACLU, Allen Asch, Chapter Representative of the Sacramento County Chapter of the ACLU, and Linnea Nelson, Legal Fellow at the ACLU of Northern California

Isn't what's being suggested the same thing that prisons are already supposed to do (not that they do since privatization). It's sad that this is even a debate, not to mention the costs.
