  • Dick Allen should be in the hall of fame, He was the strongest Hiter I ever saw using that 40 plus ounce bat. And his life time average is better then many already in there!

  • Dick Alen should be in the HOF. Not even debatable

  • Dick played in the pitchers era ,so add 25 percent to his hr's and rbi's.

  • @sage80915 the Sox had the best 2 man punch in the bullpen in the 70's,Forster and Goose,so what did they do?trade them.that's why it took 88 years to win another WS.

  • @loyaldude10 bs.his teammates loved him,you bought into the press bs racist tratment of him cause he was a black man that spoke in an era of silent back players.

  • @sage80915 -he may have been one of the most naturally talented and strongest, but that does not mean he was the greatest by any means. His attitude really hurt him, in public's eye, and that prob explains his absence from HOF.

  • My uncle is in the baseball hall of fame and he says Dick Allen is the greatest player he ever played with (he also played with Reggie Jackson, Dave Winfield and Tony Gwynn). My uncle is Goose Gossage

  • Why wasn't the background music for this his recording "Echoes of November"? That record has also taken on a life of its own.

  • Put Dick Allen in the hall of fame immediatly. He was ROY and MVP and the very best player in baseball from 1964 to 1974.Watch him swing the bat and marvel,he was a true baseball hero!
