On the right, there is a cartridges, which it is come in red box. On left, there is a cartridge, which is come in blue/white box - we call it tanks. Both are full of ink, but only cartridge from red box has a clip-chip. Use it as first. When it is run out, you can replace clip-chip from cartridge to tank. You can use clip-chip many times, but remember - black clip-chip for black tanks, magenta clip-chip for magenta tank etc.
