Ligers do not happen in wild as range of lions and tigers do not meet. Also males are not fertile. They may or may not live in the wild, It is unclear how they will perform in the wild.

Freakshow!

Ligers can't live in the wild and reproduce. It's impossible. I'm not going to explain if you don't believe me then do some research.
-
The only evidence of the real liger so far is found in the Singapore folk tales where they say big cat bigger than lion or tiger has surprised the individuals....Americans say it was a liger.... Some says it would be one of the last Saber Toothed Tiger while other says it would have been a Great American lion which is also extinct now....
-
@lost2darkness ....... Female ligers are not sterile.... So far there has been 5 occasions that female ligers have given birth to ti-ligers or Li-Ligers. ... Male Ligers haven't reproduced yet but researches show that they have very high testosterone levels..... and it wouldn't be too long before scientists will discover what might possibly be needed for a liger to reproduce.
It is a natural process 10% animals and 30% plants in nature are a product of Hybrid Breeding Program...

@HONKifUvCOACHED4BAMA ..... A Liger's Speed is 50 to 60 miles per hour..... If you watch National Geographic's Ultimate Cat you will know it.....
-
@theligerworld Two things:
1) the liger is not a species, because it is a STERILE hybrid, making in unviable offspring. This is a good way to define it as unnatural.
2) If animals can breed and produce viable offspring (ie. NOT sterile offspring) then they are of the same biological species. You do not create new species by "cross breeding".
-
@IL0UiiS ..... So far nothing has been proved.... all the sources on the internet which claim this or not credible..... There is no scientific evidence... Even some people explain that cross-breeding is against the nature this is wrong as well.....They need to discover the aquatic life at the equator....Each month thousands of new species are being created through cross-breeding...... and the process is cyclic indeed.

@theligerworld if you dont believe me search it up its cruel some mothers carnt even give birth to some of them coz they are so big they have to get cut out its not what would happen in the wild its something scientific jokes decided to do a while back search it up
