On May 21, 2008 at Gangga Island North sulawesi Indonesia we spent two dives of 75 minutes each with these cuttlefish predating in their territorial reef.
Notice the strobing effect that their body skin makes, hypnotizing the prey so that they can get close enough to make a hit. The two outward arms are extended and feathered to provide stability for the striking arms to make an accurate catch.
