Lol, there's plenty of Jazz bands with flutes. They do add a nice touch to it if they're put in right. If not, well.. like phinsfan2012 said "flutes = fail"

We played this at state jazz festival last year and our bass player used a wah pedal at the begining just like in the real recording, it was funny because one of the adjudicators was abass player and was so uptight about it that he pretty much spent the whole time telling him why he shouldn't of done that...what a jerk.

good on u guy playing flute. u dnt see many guys playing flute, i used to play and they dont get the respect they deserve. rock on guy flautists.
