@AetroyayorteA The reason why it wouldn't be funny is because white comedians usually rely on stereotypes when it comes to blacks. Bill Burr does racial comedy, Louis CK, and George Carlin and I was not offended because they didn't say something like, black people eat chicken/watermelon. Mooney wouldn't be funny if he said "white men can't jump, have small penises" etc.

he can be funny, but lets be honest if a white comedian did anything remotely similar like, "black people this or that" etc, Al Sharpton would be having a ghetto spasm attack.

i look to the audience and theire almost all black and their all laughing of this man white jokes BUT if, JUST if the comedian was White and he was macking fun of black people and the audience was almost all white? If that were the case then it would be considered reacism but because in the reality their all black and the comedian is black it isnt racist?!WRONG,WRONG WRONG THIS IS RACIST IN A POINT OF VIEW!!

@jasonlajoie You are actually correct. Being descendants of slaves most African Americans have Caucasian genes somewhere down the line...as it was common practice for slave masters to rape their female property. African American people his age experienced harsh open racism first-hand as children...so I would say there is most definitely pain behind his jokes. Knowing this, I still think he is funny...but I also recognize that his humor isn't for everyone.

His comedy is based on making fun of white people but I can't help but wonder if he's got some kind of white-envy. He obviously has Caucasian genes in his lineage - he's very light skinned with modest black features. He's a bit of a curiosity to me, I wish I could find him funny but it seems like there is pain behind those jokes. I can't seem to enjoy his stuff.
