These are my two dogs, the smaller one max, is about a year old. they have incredible noses and right now they are hunting for mice by burrowing their body in the snow and digging for them.

@DenverAikin Dachshund is German for "badger hound". In Germany, they were bred and raised to go down into badger holes, kill them, and bring the creature back to its owner for the pelt. Dachshunds are wonderful tunnelers and hunters, but are also loyal, lovable pets.

OMG my dachshund hates the snow, its neat cuz they were bred to chase badgers in small burrows like they are making in the snow, its neat how their natural instincts come out like that. Very cool and adorable!
