according to reports and what i learned while i was at Marshall it was rainy and foggy and it was human error on the part of the poilet and crew. I belive that NTSB ruled it as human error

Keep in mind all airports are basically tops of mountains in WV. The pilot approached too low, clipped trees and plowed into the side of the mountain just short of the end of the runway.
