@bravocarreras Man just gonna give you a tip. research.Klaus is way more complete with a range you wouldn't believe.4.5 octaves sings in lots of diferent timbers.i,you must have heard 2 crappy ballads by scorpions and tought that was all.I dont like wind of change.but is Klaus's song.carreras is singuing scorpions, klaus could sing but not perfectly an opera i guess, but jose would never sing a note from a song like catch your train by scorpions,,its a timber far away from his skills no doubt
As I have been accused of insulting Jose Carreras I humbly apologise to him. I did not intend to insult by giving my opinion on this comments page. It is very kind of Mr. Carreras to sing with all the people who invite him to sing with him. I would also like to say that I like all the other songs on his CD called "Around the World" especially Hine E Hine, I have never heard it sung so beautifully and the arrangement was also the best and I am sorry that I don't like Winds of change.
And just because you're more than likely a snob nosed prude that doesn't try to expand on what you consider music, doesn't give you the right to bash either of them. Because by insulting Klaus, you insult Jose since he worked with Klaus on probably THE biggest song that Klaus wrote.
So what does that say about what Jose thinks of Klaus, huh? Perhaps you should think a little more before you open your mouth and say something.
You're comparing two men with different vocal styles. By saying Klaus is one of the best singers doesn't mean Jose isn't. Klaus is easily one of the top five male rock vocalists, and Jose is easily one of the top five male opera vocalists. Quite frankly I'm amazed that they were able to create that great of a harmony.
Klaus Meiene DOESN'T NEED TO DO PLAYBACK.
