Filmmaker Gavin Michael Booth is on a mission to meet the Hollywood professionals that have inspired him in his career thus far.

Steven Spielberg, Kevin Smith, Jimmy Eat World, Zach Braff, Tom Anderson, Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, Johnny Depp, Harry Knowles, Dan Mirvish, Bryan Singer, and Ellen DeGeneres.

  • again, great interview. I never get tired of the Clerks story, no matter how many times i hear it. It's not because it's one of my favourite movies either--it isn't, even though i love it--but the whole DIY spirit behind it fascinates me. It's amazing how even got it made and distributed. That Snowball Effect documentary really makes you realise, above all, how important luck is in this business.

if that critic hadn't of rocked up to the Clerk's premiere at Angelika, nobody would have seen it

  • @NoSevenProductions then you beg, borrow, steal, save up for, use different equipment... find passionate people to join your production. WHATEVER IT TAKES.

  • @memento313 what if we don't have the resources or money to get film cameras and the editing equipment for that.

  • @memento313 What about Multi medium movie maker?

  • @memento313 Picky much? moviemaker.... etc etc... it's just become THE term for the person making the movie... film, filmmaker regardless of the changing media and eventual stoppage of shooting actual film won't change that I believe.

  • To bad it doesnt appear that you got a kick off like kevin

  • this is a very interesting approach to getting publicity. good idea.

  • @danimal97520 I glad that Affleck come back to independent movies. His "The Town" and "Gone Baby Gone" are really good.

  • The first clerks was much more then the second one

  • @danimal97520 chances are being that it'd be Kevin Smith. he'd be high at the same time.
