Episode 5 "Last Minute"
Allie: what do you want?
Nat: you don't have to talk to me, I just came to tell you that there is gonna be a band meeting at four tomorrow.
Allie: but I thought the band was over?
Nat: we're gonna see what happens.
Nat got up and walked away. Allie thought to herself, “well at least he finally knows I don't want to talk to him right now.” But at the same time, she felt bad. When she finished her coffee, she got up and left. She went to Dave's house. They went up to his room.
Allie: did Nat tell you about the band meeting yet?
David: yeah. You going?
Allie: might as well.
David: yeah, me too. What do you say we go out tomorrow, after the band meeting? Just me and you.
Allie: like a date? Sure!
David: cool, cool. *smiled*
Allie received a text from her mom. It said that she had to go home, dinner was ready.
Allie: I got to go, my mom just texted me.
David: okay, see you tomorrow then.
Allie: okay, bye.
She kissed him on the cheek and left. When she arrived home her mom hugged her and told her to go into the kitchen and set the table. She brought out two plates and two sets of silverware, but when she got into the dining room, she realized she needed four more sets.
Allie: oh, hi Mrs. Wolff, I didn't know you guys were coming to eat over tonight.
Polly: yeah, it was pretty last minute; your mom invited us, since you just got back from your cruise.
Allie: oh, okay.
Michael: hey Allie!
Allie: hi Mr. Wolff! How are you?
Michael: I'm very good, thank you.
They hugged.
Allie: hey Alex.
Alex: hey al.
They hugged. Allie got nervous all of the sudden because Nat was there. They both knew they had to hug because they didn't want the parents involved in the fight.
Allie: hey Nat.
Nat: hi.
They hugged. It was pretty awkward. They didn't know when to let go or anything.
Allie: well, I better go get some more plates.
Polly: haha, alright.
She walked into the kitchen and her mom was in there.
Allie: I didn't know the Wolff's were eating over.
Laura: yeah, I just thought it would be nice since you just got back from your cruise.
Allie: yeah, would you mind if I invited Dave over?
Laura: no not all, but why just David?
Allie: oh, I didn't tell you, I forgot. We're dating.
Laura: oh, well alright.
Allie: thanks.
Laura: sure, you go call him; I'll take the plates out.
Allie: okay.
Allie ran upstairs to go call David.
David: hello?
Allie: hey Dave!
David: oh, hey babe. What's up?
Allie: nothing, I was just wondering if you wanted to come over for dinner.
David: oh, uh sure.
Allie: okay, cool.
David: alright, see you in five.
Allie: okay, call me when you get here.
David: alright.
Allie went back downstairs to where everybody else was eating. There was one chair left, and it was next to Nat. she had no other choice than to sit there. They all started to eat and about five minutes later, Allie's phone started to ring.
Allie: excuse me.
She got up from the table and went to the door.
Allie: hey.
David: hey, I'm here.
Allie: okay, cool.
David: alright, bye.
Allie: bye.
They both hung up and Allie walked outside.
Allie: hey.
David: hey babe.
They walked inside and David heard people talking.
David: who else is here?
Allie: oh the Wolff's.
David: oh, why didn't you tell me that over the phone?
Allie: I don't know, I guess it just slipped my mind.
David: oh, okay.
The two of them walked in holding hands.
Polly: oh, hi David.
David: hi Mrs. Wolff, Mr. Wolff, Alex, Nat.
They all said hi.
Allie: uh, let me get you a chair Dave.
David: okay.
