Ha! U should see my breeding tank! It's a 15 gallon, with wild guppies, and cherry shrimps! They all breed like crazy, I got all live plants, and a 60 gallon filter on it, with over 80 fry and their parents!

Just wondering if i can place lik 10 guppies in a 10 gallon tank..(half male half female) and just whenever i find one pregnant, i put it in a cut up container in the tank (plastic container thingy with lots of tiny holes) and when the fry are born, take out the mom?

@douhnutz The general rule of thumb is 1 inch of fish per gallon, so considering guppies can go anywhere between 2-3 inches I would really only recommend a maximum of 5 guppes (2 males 3 females). UNLESS you have really good filtration (ie: a filter rated for 20+ gallons on your 10 gallon, on one of my tanks I have a 10 gallon tank and a 40 gallon rated canister filter, I also have a 3 gallon tank with a 20 gallon rated filter on it).

OH OK LOL
On a serious note, I'm not doing this professionally. This is just something for fun.
I realize if I left a bare bottom tank it would be easier to clean the tank, especially for such a small tank, I could just suck out the solid waste with a baster or something. I don't care, this is just for fun.
