It kind of does make you a misogynist when you put it that way, because seriously... who doesn't use looks and talent to attract attention, undeserved or not? So, if it was a guy who was attractive and had talent, the attention would be deserved?

I am a musician and I find her guitar technique gimmicky, but I still like her songs a lot, mostly because they are refreshingly brilliant and not mainstream crap.

I agree my opinion of Marnie Stern's music is so negative I tend to think the only conceivable reason for her success is her looks and talents to attract undeserved attention. That perhaps makes me misogynist, but to be honest, even when not considering her abilities on guitar, the music sounds bad to my ears, so I shortcuted to the first visible quality I could find her that would attract so many fans.

Just my opinion anyway, sorry if I upset you, you seem to like Marnie Stern.

I disagree. I understand this video is meant to be funny, but I don't find it clever or interesting.

Secondly, I agree music is not a guitar competition, I enjoy a lot of non guitar music, however Marnie Stern is notorious for her guitar tapping skills - look all over the internet, you'll read a lot about it - and I came here to check it out, which is why I judge her on her guitar skills.

Finally I don't see how I am misogynist, I never badmouthed women, you need to watch your language.
