Wherever, US President, George Bush visits in the world, he is met with demonstrations of thousands of people who oppose his government's policies of war, militarism and the domination and exploitation of poor countries. In Australia, people gathered from all over and a number of protests and meetings were held to protest Bush's visit. This is the activist side of the story from the alternative media, ARTV.

why does god wait so long to do something this is way out of hand,,we are truly dealing with the devil,,these ppl have clearly chosen the dark side,i used wander how god could send anyone to hell,now i see why that place is there for ppl with no souls no amount of anything will fix them,also god will forgive anything tha says thy are sorry to him,,what about the ppl they do it too?theres a lot of things totally wrong with that picture

Another interesting vid. I was at s11 with the independent media, and curated photo exhibitions about it; but haven't been in Oz for years, so was great to watch this vid too; and see old friends and fellow travellers.

Question: In the "town hall" style meeting what was the vote - to march or not too march in the "no-go zone"? And what actually happened on the day?
