HAHA, I just have to laugh at a lot of these ridiculous comments on this video... goodness. This wasn't a run-of-the-mill weekend tournament, this was a 48-gamer against the best of the best, and you can't deny Kelly Kulick was definitely the best of the best that week; I don't think many people, male or female, can shoot back-to-back 270s just to make it to TV with that pressure. League bowlers... I tell you, they can make some ridiculous comments about the professionals. Hah.

lol 8:04 she gives her mom the cup and she goes "ill make it an ashtray"

What are the necessary qualities to be a good bowler? To have a strong wrist or other things beside that?

@tonys2k2 Don't bother. This "20 anal phabet" tool is in every friggin video talking about the good 'ol times and how everything is rigged now, etc. He's an old fart, a sad grandpa that doesn't have enough money to buy viagra. Conspiracy theory douche bags are pretty stupid to begin with, but to imply a conspiracy in a game that has such a high content of chance in 1 game matches reveals a complete lack of basic statistics.

Shes got great talent, as far as I knew the length of toc is 39 feet which favors all rev rates and angles, the way she mowed over the best men players makes me wonder but none the less shes great.

@20alphabet And what are my "limitations"?

@PhilCollins4eva entry angle = everything

@zzzthaoster as my coach often says the me "it's not brute force and ignorance that makes a good bowler, it's being accurate and confident in your shots while having the ability to accept bad frames but still manage to take something positive from the bad shot." I'm not high on revs but I like to think I will be as good a bowler as kelly one day :)
Barnes had to beat men to qualify, Kullick had to beat women. For this match the oil pattern was changed (shortened), a first in PBA TOC history. Listen to the commentary. Look at Barnes' exaggerated expressions. Listen to Kullick's scripted line as she threw the last ball. It was ALL for a purpose, to invent history and ignite interest in women's bowling and the PBA. Yes she struck often, but if she hadn't Barnes was prepared to go through the nose if necessary. As fake as Ballard's gutter.

@20alphabet Seriously???? So the fact she blew through the field of 63...62 of them MEN...to qualify 2nd during the tournament...that was all scripted as well? The 14 people she beat in Match Play all just "layed down" for her as a part of the giant PBA mass conspiracy? The 9 people that beat her in Match Play were just anti-conspiracy then.
I've seen some dumb comments on this video...but holy crap this takes the cake!

It blows my mind still seeing all the "She got lucky" comments. Shooting 265 usually is not luck. Beating someone by 70 pins usually is not luck. Chris bowled a terrible game by his standards...Kelly didn't miss the pocket until her fill ball...where does luck enter in at all? Yes, she had better pin carry overall, but if you think that constitutes "luck"...you don't know much about physics. Speed and entry angle...she had it working perfectly.

@tonys2k2 if we want to talk about luck, Kelly's shot that left the 7-10 could have easily carried. Chris bowled a better game than his score reflected, but he was lucky Kelly didn't throw a 300 at him :)
