The Package was made as part of the National Film Challenge 2006. Purple Squirrel Productions had 72 hours to write, shoot, edit, and score an 8 minute short containing the following: (genre: cop / detective; character: Coco Whitman, massage therapist, Prop: super ball; and line of dialogue: "That's not a sin in my religion."). I am extremely proud to have worked with such a dedicated, creative, and fun cast & crew...and can't wait to shoot something with them again soon. Enjoy the film!

I can't think of a better hook than 2 people found dead in an apt. with no explanation as to why. Also, I think this short is pretty damn polished especially considering how many I have seen from these weekend challanges. The music is killer, the script has a bookend for God's sake and I think this Den guy is just jealous he didn't make it.

Not a lot of polish on these short time frame Projects. Considering that I still think it needed more of a hook to draw us into the characters and plot, but what can you do with 8 mins. Don't know how I would come up with anything small enough with the right punch to it.
But you gotta try, and then you learn. Very envious Jef. thanks for sharing your work -Den
