  • this is an original bode from moog , I don't remember the serial and date # but I'll check that asap

  • How the fuck did you get one of them? I thought there was only 10-11 of them made. Unless it's a clone.

  • you're right it's a very rare module , I don't know how many were made but this one is an original not a clone .

I bought it in England years ago .

  • Lucky you I guess.

How did you aquire this? New or 2nd hand? Just curious.

  • 2nd hand , as you see it , with the metal cabinet including the adapted power supply and the 994 mutliples module

  • wow, you are doing StarWars movie like effects. That's cool. Now that I think about it, they may have used a Bode Shifter for some of those weird creatures.

  • yes it's possible , but you can create complex fx voices sounds with a ring modulator and 2 lfo's or vocoder and harmoniser .

  • I know someone who does have one of the originals, not sure whether it has LED's or not I will have to check. Derocov is right - they sound much better if carefully calibrated. There is a wide range of sounds that can be found if you understand what it is doing and know a bit about musical acoustics.

  • Sounds like an imperial sentry drone. Man those things are so rare.

  • It's not an original one from the 60/70s - they did not have LEDs. Someone must have made one as a copy - but it could have been Moog CE (Custom Engineering) which was a man in the USA in the '90s, or the Welsh people who remade the Minimoog in the UK. Sounds great, very similar to the 360 Systems Shifter.

  • Hello, I've posted this video on switchedonsynthesizer.blogspot . com

    Thanks

  • Hello sirs.. It can be quite easily built, coinsider a new one. It´s made easily If you know wich pits you might fall into.. along the construction process..(and forget digital slow inaccurate Software ones) this is the real deal. Because it has to be 100% perfectly calibrated for maximal timbre quality & low carrier feed through...one has to be a bit careful, but it´s 3 simple cicuits.

I constructed one, some years ago. You can make lots of different very very interrsting sounds with them
