Impressive. Bob was definately a professional coach. Though in these videos he's teaching basics of batting but I believe even professionals can learn from this. (Bowling uploaded and Wicket keeping/fielding videos comming soon)

  • where is this coach in england... i want him to be my cricket coach lol... serious...

  • @gafg540 He was indeed a great coach but he died during the 2007 world cup :(

  • I have a different approach against left-arm pace bowlers and left arm spinners/ leg spinners. (I am a right-hander, by the way)

I begin with a side-on stance and as the ball is delivered, I shuffle and open up slightly. That enables me to play better on the off-side without blinding my view as a side-on stance sometimes does.

Not sure if many other players follow that, but I've seen Damien Martyn and Craig McMillan adopting this method on occasions.

  • thats really cool mate.. i used to do the same too (I still do) but the problem i face is that on deliveries that come into me from off stump really cause problems... and if the ball reverse swings, u ca easily loose middle or leg stump.... well atleast I do :)

  • Featuring All time Great coach for pakistan with all time Great coach for India

  • even though it is 2011, 4 years have passed but I will never forget such a great man.

  • Great coaching by a truly great man, huge loss to cricket and to the world when he left us in 2007. I read somewhere that when he first started coaching in South Africa during apartheid and the ensuing guerrilla war he used to coach kids of all races and colors and for those who lived in bad neighborhoods he would drive them back to their houses. Truly a great man..

  • @prescient8 pity the Pakistani cricket team murdered him and got away scot free as all Muslims do when the commit a crime in a Western country.

  • Three people are either baseball players or total imbeciles.

  • @Pablo34643
