Alice Babs & Svend Asmusen - Blue mountain land (Vindarna sucka uti skogarna)

Alice Babs is awesome as usual! here singing with Svend Asmussen on violin and Ulrik Neumann guitar. This version from 1964 of a traditional song about Siljan lake in Dalarna, Sweden has a peculiar hawaiian flavour to it but I like it all the same. The beautiful suggestive lyrics are lost in translation though..

I thank Alice and Svend! and I hope no one will mind the video.
