I know that area of Brighton - it's a nice neighborhood with big trees and nice estates. I've walked those tracks before when I was a kid. It's the old New York Central Mainline, which later became the Penn Central, then ConRail, and now CSX.

Trains have their place, just as cars and trucks do.
The trouble is in grade crossings.
It would appear that in Japan the trains are more careful.
In the UK there are emergency phones at the crossings.
But in the USA it is not the case.

don't you have anything better to do than say you hate trains they are faster than alot of other methods of transport go support buses then while the cool people support trains ;)
