Wow this really is my history. I ended up a hopeless alcoholic by 29 but believed the whole time. I started to walk with Christ and am free from my affliction. Now I must hold every thought captive to the obedience of Christ and I am free from the world. Still a sinner but sanctification is a journey. Emotions are deceptive. The Word is not.

The commandment about the woman has a specific circumstance, if Blair is in it she is wrong, if not then different application.
I believe that ppl are born with gay tendencies, just as much as those born with lying, stealing, fornicating ones. Nevertheless it is sin (1Cor6:9) and if one claims to be christian (a repentant sinner w/ faith in Christ) yet hold up one blatant sin and refuses to repent of it, I think that they are not consistent with biblical christianity.
