im doing the same right now too!!!! i just cant stand how it uses all of my computers power up, i mean i have a 3.4 ghz computer and 2.5 gigs of ram, it says my computer is too slow, what exactly is low ram or processor?

@kevingp12 If it's a dual core it shouldn't really have too much of a problem. A dedicated sound card audio interface would help to reduce the latency and take some of the process that your CPU has to do for the sound. A 64 bit operating system and 4 GB ram are recommended for minimum standard for anything of multitasking and heavy app work these days.

@blitzwater well its a single core with hyper threading tech which supposedly works similar to a dual core, i do have a dedicated sound card, its an m-audio fast track pro, i really don't know what else to do, i guess it was just that one specific effect that i remember had so many effects on it, it was a combinator with like 20 different effects, i guess i wont use that effect anymore.. thanks for the advice though :)

@kevingp12 Hyper threading isn't really too optimized well on a single core. It actually puts more strain, kind of like 2 lane road with car traffic merging onto a 1 lane road. A Pentium Dual Core that ranges around the $60 price range clocked at around near the same speed as yours would ace Reason 4 easily. Has better instructions and more cache speed than single P4, assuming that's what you have. A SATA hard drive would increase load speed for the samples.

find out how much more fun you could have with that camera using Sony Vegas or similar software...or if you're short of cash try KINo @ sourceforge...free software. and pay attention to record quality...but it's just great so far carry on!!

Yeah I'm aware of that haha. That's why I bought Final Cut Express 4 and Sony HDR-CX100 HD camera. Future videos will be so much better in picture quality. Thanks.
