Jubilant Russia through as England crash out

Russia have done the seemingly impossible in qualifying for the Euro-2008 Championship. On a tense night they beat minnows Andorra as expected - but only by a single goal. The really significant result came from England as the home side lost 3-2 to Croatia at Wembley.

russia was great on euro 2008 fantastic football but they are very lucky in qualifications

Russia was a Semi-Finalist in Euro and Croatia was certainly one of the teams of the tournament outdone by a remarkable stroke of luck.

Maybe England just happened to be in the group of death in qualifying?
