  • holy shit ballz nutackular bodacious radical render you got going there. I just picked up this workflow. I normally use all other 3D typical programs. Does the Vray plugin for Google Sketchup allow an automated feature for multi-pass rendering for comp guys like myself? What do you have to say about the camera maneuverability in sketchup for these types of renders? THANKS for POSTING!

  • @HANGER187 Just like in vray for 3ds max you can render the reflection, GI, shadow etc. seperatly so it's ok for composition. If your talking about the animation of the camera, then I have to say that It's very limited unless you have other plugins like SU animate but it works fine for simple walkthroughs and animations like this.

  • @latvietis1234 Awesome, thanks for quick reply mate. Yes I came across SU Animate and started playing with vray plugin for SU. My only thing about the render pass, I cant seem to find Ambient Occlusion, is it named differently. Sorry but I mostly use all other apps than Max so I am not too familiar with the slight different naming conventions. Thanks again. Cant wait til another post.

  • @HANGER187 The AO pass is available in the newest version.
