  • Go to japan or whatever..... there is people standing, and their service is 10x better. And no one seem to be bitching

  • wouldnt want it to derail!!! what a nightmare

  • John Hill, try catching a train from out west . . . ur just pissed cos u think u deserve a seat!

  • "accidentally exposed" what rubbish. If you actually take the time to read the content, it is part of the customer charter to publish this information. For whom would it serve to accidentally collate and then distribute it into the public domain? thats a heck of a lot of effort. Some people believe its their god given right to expect the luxury of air conditioning or heaters. Some people cannot afford this in their own homes let alone worry about a 1 hour commute each way.

  • Should learn from Harris Park Transport, Citybus direct...

  • They should try catching the train during peak hour in Tokyo, then they would have something to complain about.............

  • hahahahahahaahahahaaha city rail i lol at you.... because i travel everyday from the western suburbs to the city and i have to stand for 40 minutes....

  • @DisciplinedUnit Governments are always doing something wrong. That doesn't mean the public is best served by reporters seizing on the most extreme example and tarting it up further with a false claim of accidental exposure. A decent story would have presented the facts in a balanced way and investigated the accuracy of the figures.

  • @erana19

Dude, if they are doing something wrong then they deserve to be "punished" by this kind of reporting. Their job is to serve the Australian people.

  • The site is bullshit, Blue Mountains trains are always crowded leaving Central, and many city-bound ones are crowded long before Parramatta (often Springwood or Blaxland). I once had to stand for 80 minutes from Springwood to Central, 4x what CityRail claims is acceptable.
