All the negative vibes are picking up shite. She had a beautiful voice & from a learner did us proud.

too fast!
-
sung beautifully, but i can't help but feel she's interrupting 80,000+ Welsh punters from singing...
-
why can't they get someone who is from and wales and sung the song as they grew up.......some respect is in order

wales 2 yrs ago against ireland

@dimgwalltameiben wow i thought i was on my own, i have been to many wales games over the last thirty years, and you are completely right, the bloody opera version puts the genuine fans off singing, correct me if i am wrong as i was a bit worse for wear,, :-) in 2005 when we beat ireland to the grand slam was the opera voice there? maybe K .jenkins? know max was there and we won, nice now, nos da, iawn
-
wow. u have a wunderful voice ... :-)
-
Doh! I just realised why you are saying 'she'. It's Jason who has put this up. lol

I have not finished wanking my dad off.........I'm wanking him even harder since England won the ashes...........I love you xxx

Well done on winning the world cup in 2003 have you stopped wanking your dad off yet? This video is about passion! Something you english will never understand!
Well isn't nit-picking what youtube's all about?
As a trained singer achieving a 'neutral' accent is part of the profession (IMHO). Unlike Pavarotti who consistently butchered Advance Australia Fair... Even Pav's French is very Italian if you know what I mean - he sounded so good no one cared... at least I don't.
Thanks again.

Actually, it was the expression on her face, like " oops" and the fact that she made a slip up which would be typical of someone who is actually learning Welsh, ( ´n is very very common after " mae"). I had never heard of her and was just wanting to hear the song again as I live in Brazil, also I didnt know it was in Oz. When Wales played Brazil in S Paulo they played God save the Queen, which went down well as U can imagine. I´m English, by the way,so go easy on the twll tîn stuff

GSTQ for Wales hey? OUCH.
But I'd wager you're right - she knew she'd sung the 'n' accidently straight away - but what are you gonna do? Part of the joy of live performing - one it's done, it's done.
Then we get to watch again an again on YT. :-)

You have to understand, she's a professional singer, not a welsh speaker.
She learnt the pronunciation from a welsh speaker over the phone.
It's just a gig - the rugby people would have a tough time finding an actual welsh person who is also a trained singer who happens to live in Brisbane, Australia; although of course that would be ideal.
But thanks for the comments!
