i beg to differ man. you really have no idea how long it took these young men and women to write/compose the songs, they got up at three in the morning to drive to a horse farm. they won fair and square, and their efforts should be commended.
good day to you!

after watching many 48 hour film submissions, I was very impressed with this film. The infamous western/musical... either choice of genre is tough and this team chose to combine the two.. brilliant. Excellent job with the original music and the sound editing during the gun slinging scene. As an educator, I was most proud to discover this team was mostly High School students or recent grads! mazal tov!

Pretty strong? Nobody is a composer or an actor. They are kids. And the story is legendary!
I think you got it right though. The 48 hr committee picked out a crappy video to represent Baltimore and robbed and cheated everyone else.
case closed!

I think compared to others this year it is quite deserving. Of course, these are our own opinions- so to each his own.

I can only assume they are speechless, because the film is bloody awful. Bad music, horrible acting, boring story. Just a shame because this year was a pretty strong one for the Balto 48. Several teams were robbed and should feel cheated.

Speechless...why?

i wish it wasn't so hard to see on here that scott johnston disappears at the end, also to answer the question below, campfires attract many a folk
I am floored.
This deserves to win because it has so much SASS it's not even funny. This should have won best short film at last year's oscars. In fact, it deserves the much-coveted palm d 'or. No, platinum angels could hand-deliver a diamond encrusted trophy to the filmmakers, and it would still not compare to the brilliance of this piece.
Bravo, well done.
