Thanks for taking the time to do your cleaning presentation. I just bought a Spiringfield .40 sub-compact and your video answered some of my cleaning questions..

One more questions, I figured the bore brush was too corse for the outside frame. I was afraid of scratching the finish. From your video, it looks like it is ok to use?

Just wanting to state one thing. I noticed at the end, you mentioned a rag with silicon. Is it actually silicon, or silicone?

good educational video. How come when you load the gun you put the round in from the top and not from the mag? I always put the mag in then rack the slide then drop the mag and replace the round.

I do it that way so that I dont have to pull the mag in and out. it's a bit faster.

Awesome video man. I just bought a Taurus 24/7 .40, and being relatively new to guns (shot friends, never owned my own) you videos on the 24/7 have been extremely helpful to me in the care and maintenance of the gun. Thanks, keep up the great work.

Loading the round into the chamber,and letting it slam closed is a good way to break the extractor, load from mag and top off mag after.

i think that clp stuff is crap used it to lube my gun and it started acting funny i would use rem oil over that stuff anyday! Plus they have bore solvents that works way way way better!

its like the least of both worlds if u ask me a little clean and a little lube but not much of either!

@3btheo i have the same gun xd subcompact .40 when i first bought it i had a few rounds catch on the feed ramp. After some more rounds the slide stayed back and i could just drop it with the switch. After a few more rounds my buddies colt 1911 gold cup national match had more malfuctions than me b/c i had none!

shoot it till u get all the kinds out ;)
