cool - I've had prison pen pals. One of them made me an awsome blak and white card using only ink - I had it framed.

I would reccommend that if you take up prison pen pals that you use a P.O. Box and don't give them your real last name - many of the are scam artists. But there also some lonely souls that just need a friend to believe in them. Good for you for writting.

Good on you. Good luck for your friend who happens to be in jail. I was in Prison here in England for a time and what i see on T.V , we have them easy here than the USA. Be happy!!!

@hackleback there are web sites about prison pen pals such as write a prisoner. They can give you a list of pointers. Also check with the pen pal about what their specific prison allows to be sent as different places have different rules. Good luck :)
