Where would you find a Cherubino like this today with a combination of soprano and mezzo? Training the talent is a large part part of the problem, depending on the country. I must mention the costumes and the scenery, which have a distinct meaning and relation to the context here, unlike the creations of a variety of minimalist nicompoops.
