Riverside County, Feb. 24, 2009, 4/11, Supervisors debate Ordinance 884

At the Feb. 24, 2009 meeting of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors, Ordinance 884 "regulating targeted residential protests" was debated and adopted by a 4-1 vote. Supervisors Stone, Tavaglione, Wilson, and Ashley voted in favor, Supervisor Buster dissented.

The international headquarters of the Church of Scientology are located at a compound called "Golden Era Productions", aka "Gold Base", in Gilman Hot Springs near Hemet, in Supervisor Jeff Stone's district.

The irony here is that just hours after this meeting protesters where arrested outside the church of scientology property being discussed here and they were in an area that they were allowed to protest in front of - harassment!

Protestors of Scientology, if you have the chance, ask Maureen lots of questions about the details of buildings at the Int Base, she's lived there for years. She knows what it is like on the other side and has seen the slow deteriorization of rights that the cult staffers have suffered over the years!
