The video above will give you a unique perspective on how close the USAF Thunderbirds fly to one another.

Pay particular attend to how close the Thunderbirds fly in the diamond formation. In some cases they are separated by less than 18 inches (45 centimeters).

  • i was like 2 or 3 and my parents played that video over and over again. my dad used to work on # 3. :D

  • @buckeyecapsfan19 They sure did!!!!

  • Looks like they touched at 2:15

  • Those guys are hardcore. It would take a lot to give them any competition. I used to think that the Blue Angels were the best, but I'm gonna have to change that. The TB's definitely have the upper hand as far as how close they fly to each other, expecially in the diamond.

  • Why does every country fly their top line fighters in their demo teams.....except Canada.

    T Birds are terrific

    Golden Hawks need a Phoenix.

  • LOL 2:50 is a typical thunderbird lol

  • @franslat Hey, remember that the Blue Angels wings are a full 8 FEET LONGER. Thunderbirds fly closer and they have to wear a G-Suit because the F-16 is a higher G rated aircraft, 9G, while the F-18's are a wimpy 7G max

  • sick video

  • @Alanss27 the song is bush machine head

  • song?
